Although the care has been excellent at this hospital, the providers are truly exceptional! However, I consistently get surprise bills for preventive care from the hospital. I know my health insurance plays a role in this, but I have found the hospital to be very vague about all aspects related to costs. Went to outpatient lab , had a stat blood draw sent at 9:30 in the morning, showed up at 2:00 receptionist said there was no order, I said they have confirmation, had the surgeons office send it 4 more times, still nothing, she finally looked around and found them all on another fax machine and another from my primary doctor. It’s ridiculous that this lab can not operate like any other lab. I have a standing order, but couldn’t get in for a week!! Over this place!
