Common Man is our favorite NH eatery and Ashland is our favorite.
From dinner and drinks to brunch the next morning, this restaurant is excellent! The wait staff was great and the view of the lake is beautiful! Highly recommend!

The best service we have had in years from any restaurant. Our waitress was Brittany I believe and the food was awesome. Could cut the pot roast with a fork. Vegetables very fresh. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Our friends who live in nearby Meredith, NH recommended we meet at The Common Man for lunch. We were delighted. Diverse menu, great variety, and very tasty choices. Wraps, salad, lobster chowder, grilled cheese sandwich, quiche were some of our choices. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Efficient, friendly service, too!!

Took folks there from NV first time. We loved it. I've been many but they loved it too. Tracy our waitress was great too!!!
Went there Christmas day for the buffet. Very good. The only things missing were some plain veggies like peas, carrots or whatever. Not a complaint, just a comment. They had some great fancier veggies. Had the fish, fantastic. Had the prime rib, great. Didn't try the chicken but my companion did and she liked it so much that she went back for seconds.
