We just moved in here at Commando but so far the maintenance and staff has been prompt and helpful to make us comfortable and at home!
Absolutely terrible from the apartments themselves to the management to maintenance. Antiquated homes, bug, snake, and bear infested. Far overpriced, and unnecessarily gated community. The gates have been nothing but a problem since they were installed, they never work, sometimes block people INSIDE the neighborhood, sometimes are completely open for 3 weeks straight and god forbid you misplace your pass.
We love living here the Management Staff, Maintenance personnel all are great. We have no issues with anything. If anything goes wrong with the house the office is right on it. We feel very safe living here. Thank you all in the office for making this a very nice place to live.
I love it. There is an awesome neighborhood feel, not like most apartment complexes. I would recommend it to anyone in Ft. Walton Beach.
Recently moved into Commando Village. We have been very impressed with the office staff, playgrounds, events and programs. The location is great and we feel safe in the neighborhood. We love that there are sidewalks and plan on many family walks. Definitely recommend Commando Village as an excellent, family-friendly community.
By far the worst place we have lived. It started of by them acting all nice and then bam right when things start going bad they never take responsibility for it. We have had several issues and either they don't get dealt with in a timely matter or they forget. We even recently got a violation for leaving a trash can on the curb for an extra day yet theres nothing within the lease that says its a violation.
