Benjamin is awesome! – I have been going to Comfort Zone for over 2 years now and have had the best experience every single time! I went to Benjamin based on a recommendation from a friend and he is absolutely wonderful! Benjamin is very honest about what works and looks best on you, he is not trying to just get you to spend money. get your hair done here – I started going to Comfort Zone for my hair cut & color 4 years ago, and I will continue going as long as I can! Benjamin does a perfect job with my hair color. When Benjamin isn't there, I ask for Michael, who is also great. It is perfectly natural and he does a great haircut as well! I feel very comfortable and relaxed when I go there, and the price point is good as well. They truly live up to their name as the ultimate Comfort Zone.
BENJAMIN is the best – I have been going to Ben for 10 years. Noone, I mean noone in New York City does blonde highlights like he does. He is an artist- and a gifted colorist. Ben has the ability to take a bland blonde and turn her into a bright, shiny, gorgeous, natural looking blonde...and for a reasonable price. He asks how is worked out for you last time, and listens. He is truly the best.
Great Service – Ben is the best - I had long, straight boring hair for so many years but through some highlights and a great, swingy, trendy-but-not-too-high-maintenance cut, transformed my entire look. I love, love, LOVE the color - it's subtle and very springy, and the cut couldn't be easier - it's wash and wear, glamorous without blow-drying and wearable without pulling back. The Best Hairstylist and Colorist Around – When I moved to Manhattan in April 2006 I was very anxious about finding a new hairstlyist and colorist. I had been going to the same hairstylist and colorist for over 15 years and even followed her from Forest Hills to Long Island. Once I was in Manhattan the commute was not possible. LOVE IT!!!! – I work in a client based field. I have been somewhat loyal to Benjamin at Comfort Zone for a few years now. Every now and then I 'cheap out' and try and find some other place to do my highlights or haircut-I have to admit time and time again I have gone RUNNING BACK TO BENJAMIN at Comfort Zone, making apologies for my disloyalty! Great Color and Service – I have been going to Comfort Zone for a little over a year now, and really can't say enough good things about the salon and my experience! Benjamin is an amazing colorist and stylist, and the pricing is very decent. They carry great products, as well. The salon also did hair for my wedding party a few months ago, and everyone was really pleased. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and not stuffy or stuck up at all. You will not be disappointed!
A Genuine Gem in a Sea of Fakes! – I've been a loyal customer at Comfort Zone for as long as it's been in business. Now I have to "commute" to see my stylist, Benjamin - having moved out of the neighborhood - but it is well worth it! Dont bother! – The reviews must have been tampered with! By far the worst salon I have ever been too! I feel as if giving it one star is too much. So where do I begin? Ok well first off I find it completely irritating that they all spoke Russian. It made me really uncomfortable because I felt as if they were talking about me because they were just speaking English two seconds ago and now giggling speaking in Russian.
