They insistent on payment for one month in advance, but never provided a respite care worker. Refused to refund money because our contract specified a minimum of CNA certification to care for my mother. The owner stated that none of their staff is certified and she would not be dictated to about what kind of care was appropriate. Dont waste your money, or risk the welfare of your loved one.
Initially, Comfort Keepers was very responsive and tested their installed equipment regularly by contacting the subscriber and asking if everything was okay or had any problems come up. As the contract matured, the tests became less frequent and eventually stopped. When an emergency arose and the system was activated in the middle of the night, no response from Comfort Keepers was forthcoming as the battery in the signaller had expired.
