I had a very unpleasant experience here. I was in the room for no more than 15–20 minutes before a family emergency came up. I explained the situation at the front desk and asked about a refund, but the owner accused me of lying and became confrontational. Although I had only set my bags down and washed my hands, I was told I “used” the room and was charged $30 for soap, claiming housekeeping would need to replace it.
