Tha hotel was very basic. Our room smelled a little dusty but appeared to be clean. My main complaint is that we planned our trip on playing in water. We planned on going to Soakya and Lake Winnie, coming back to the hotel and swim some more. Wake up, eat breakfast, swim some more and head home. THE POOL WAS DOWN!! There was no prior communication about this. We would have booked at a place that could have accommodated. This ruined our whole planned weekend. Take a pass on this hotel. Several issues. Side door doesn’t lock no security. Lobby- metal trim lifted. Saw 2 people trip over this while checking in. Needs major overall.
Absolutely horrible experience. The room door didn't even have a functioning lock, which is a major safety concern and completely unacceptable for any hotel. To make matters worse, I found cockroaches in the room, including near the bed. When I reported the issue to the front desk, instead of taking responsibility or addressing the problem, I was told they "weren't cockroaches" and that they "don't reproduce." The weekend people that check us in lied to us about going swimming at other hotels and told us the pool was not working due to the flood and it was because the pump is out and also lied to us and the manager is the one that told us the truth name Alicia other than that the hotel is a great stay
