Called during the week about taking a group of kids swimming. We were told we would have to rent a room and were quoted $80. When we called today to make reservation for room we were told we would have to wait because there may or may not be a birthday party that would pay more. Conveniently located right by a boardwalk to the beach, and conveniently located near the center of the Outer Banks to make exploring both north and south very easy, BUT…the hotel is worn out, our room was dirty, and our bathroom was filthy. Whatever you do when traveling, please don’t stay here! Staff very rude. Not to mention the bed bugs and they even leave food from previous guest if you’re hungry! I booked these rooms for my uncle Steve who is very sick to attend his daughters graduation and it was that bad, they left with 20 minutes and wouldn’t give a refund, that’s ok thought I will be getting those refunds done today! Also Ms.Thomas was very rude, she needs to put in laundry so she’s not bothered by guest checking!
