If you want to get ripped off, stay at the South Jacksonville Comfort Inn. They will keep your deposit and also add additional charges to your credit card bill without telling you. I got charged $275 for one night in a motel that was only supposed to charge $99 per night for the suite. After contacting the South Jacksonville Police Dept., a very nice officer showed up and said that it was a civil matter, and that this wasn’t the first time they had been called out there for similar incidents before. They robbed me for 25 plus hours on my check took away time cards and that place is nasty and you couldn’t imagine what really goes on out there do not go to that hotel for a job or a place to stay
Pretty nice and clean place and reasonable prices. the only complaint I have is the indoor pool should be heated. the water was ice cold which was a bummer so we couldn't really enjoy it.

This hotel in Jacksonville Illinois, is the worst I’ve ever been to! Our room was dirty with food on nightstand when we came in! Bed sheets down and a mess-obviously someone had been in the bed recently-dirty towels on floor of bathroom! Shampoo used in shower, and soap unwrapped &used as well?! Really???? $100 for this? Hot tub at pool area just filthy, kids were afraid of it! Hoping we will be compensated for this-terrible for anybody to deal with!
Stayed here for a baseball tournament. I will stay, not the newest, up to date place.....However, we did enjoy the good customer service. We were able to check in on Friday early. I was also able to request a late (noon) check out due to later scheduled games on Sunday. Breakfast area was stocked and tables cleaned quickly after each use. My family had reservations for 3 rooms on July 13th. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told it was closed due to a fire. We had no idea that this had happened. Evidently they were supposed to have called me to let me know and send us to a Hampton Inn there in town. I received no message to this affect. After I returned home, I spoke with someone at the Comfort Inn. They told me that this wasn't their fault, that the Hampton Inn was supposed to contact us and let us know we had rooms there.
