Can’t say enough about Cody and Comfort Airworks. I called Sunday around 4pm fully expecting to have to schedule something the following week. He was able to fit me in, no crazy emergency service fee, and was at my house with 30 minutes and had cool air blowing within an hour, replaced a bad capacitor. He took his time and was worth every penny which was more than reasonable for what he did. Not losing this magnet!
Cody came immediately on a Saturday when our home was struggling to heat. Pricing is fair and honest. Sadly, we’re in an age where all the mega companies want to just sell and finance equipment, however, Cody is an expert technician. I attempted DIY first before calling Comfort Airworks and Cody even showed me what to do to save some money. Thanks!
Edit: As per his reply, I did state he offered to replace it for $$$$ in addition to what we had already paid for service repair that was not the issue. Most contractors double the cost of parts, I get that. If the board was $140 (our cost) was probably less your cost, and we replaced it in less than 10 minutes. So the fact you upcharge way more than double seems very unfair. Plus, we had already been charged service fee for the 1st "repair" that was not the issue. I reached out to Cody on a Sunday morning because my air conditioner was struggling to keep up with the extreme weather. He returned my call within 30 minutes and was at my house within an hour. He is professional, thorough, patient (I had lots of questions) and courteous. It was obvious that he was more interested in helping in my time of need than trying to make a quick buck. I highly recommend Cody!
