This was the best meal I had on a recent trip to La Jolla. I got the chilaquiles with eggs and was it was so amazing that I was sad that I couldn't finish the entire dish. My Thursday daytime server was friendly and attentive and the restaurant is clean and bright. Don't miss this gem!
My recent visit was incredibly disappointing due to multiple service failures. First, I asked for almond milk for my coffee and received oat milk instead. Then, despite telling the server we’d no black beans, the enchiladas came out with black beans. The kitchen was quick to remake the dish, but the second version was completely different from the first. The cheese, which was melted on the original plate, was now in unmelted blocks.
