This 1883 Victorian home, with its impressive white columns, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. While Columns Hotel may not be the most modern of hotels, it is full of a charm that can only be found in the Big Easy. It was designed by Thomas Sully, a great architect of New Orleans. The hotel is also the only surviving building out of many that he designed.

What a terrible disappointment. The service was horrific! We waited over 90 minutes for cold and bad brunch. There was no one in charge of this place. Some servers were sweating and running while others were on their phone. The bathrooms were dirty and the building in disrepair. Close- but no cigar.
Like the garden district. Like the Columns! So fun
Always lovely. Good Sazerac. Best part was Don Vappie playing!
Love the porch and the bar and tues nites. Great Bartenders
I have stayed at The Columns many times for many years. It is an older, historic mansion converted to a hotel with a great bar, front porch, lounge areas and frequent great music. Like a lot of New Orleans, it is "used, but not used up" (theme for a new song); it's not for everyone, but if you like old world luxury and don't mind a little wear and tear, and if you want to stay uptown in the garden district on the St. Charles street car line, this is your place.
Columns Hotel has a 4.6 star rating with 1,741 reviews.
Columns Hotel is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
