The doctor I saw was great. But for some reason the billing staff dropped the ball on my referral, which my insurance requires and my PCP sent. Spoke with Karen in the billing department and she was COMPLETELY UNHELPFUL. Instead of trying to get the issue resolved and working with me and my insurance provider, Karen chose to pass the buck and blame others for my insurance company not paying. Doctors are great and the offıce is very clean. It's in a convenient location as well. The office staff could be more friendly. I would have given 5 stars but had to give a mark down because of how the office staff at the front desk and who answer the phones can be most times. They need to be more friendly towards clients and have more patience and not try to rush their clients.
I'm very happy with my experience at COA. Dr. Derick has provided excellent care and is always very receptive to my questions, taking the time to address each of my concerns. The staff is always professional and courteous.
Doctors are very experienced and knowledgeable. Staffs are very accommodating with helping me during my cataract/laser surgery. Thank you, Dr. McHale for my renewed superhero vision! I've now got that sparkle back in my eyes!
I am an optometrist wirh over forty years of experience. I would rate Columbus Ophthalmology as one of the best practices in Ohio. I am one of their patients so that is the highest endorsements that an eye care provider can make.
