My kids have been patients at Columbia Pediatrics for a few years now. We used to come in a few minutes before an appointment, check in, be called back right on time, see the doctor within a few minutes of being in the room and for simple appointments be done within a half hour of our appointment time. All while feeling heard and well cared for. Since the merger with CVCH it takes at least 30 minutes if not longer to see our PCP after we get to the room. If you’re expecting, you need to make an appointment with Caroline Kennedy! She is more than a blessing, I can’t even explain how much she helped me. I had H.G throughout my whole pregnancy and Caroline did everything in her power to help me- and she wasn’t even supposed to be my midwife! I was bounced between three other (wonderful) midwives but they each had personal (unavoidable)things that interrupted my care, so Caroline was always the one who stepped in. Even with delivery! I just wanted to give a shout out to the excellent care my daughter received yesterday at the walk-in! Kim Steensma ARNP was fantastic in being thorough in her assessment and we are really appreciative of that! She got right on the phone with an on-call ophthalmologist who agreed to see my daughter right away, even after he had already closed for the day. Thank you guys!! From one healthcare worker to another, you guys have been great!!
I recently took my oldest child to see Dr. Brooke Jardine for a well child check and we both loved her! She took her time, and listed to both myself and my daughter. Dr. Jardine was so nice my kiddo gave her a big hug before we left!
