The seminary is not a welcoming institution for Latinx people.I am troubled by the news that the Rev. Ruth-Aimée Belonni-Rosario Govens was terminated from Columbia Theological Seminary. She wants everyone to know that this action by the seminary is unjustified. According to Her words, "I was terminated this morning. The narrative is fabricated and consistent with the discrimination, harassment and retaliation environment I've experienced since I arrived". Suggest year and half at Conservative seminary first, then final year and half at Columbia for good theological balance.

My Father in Law, the Rev. Dr. Stuart Barton Babbage taught there in the 60's. The school has a tradition of outstanding spiritual as well as practical application. Dr. Babbage's work, durning the Civil Rights Movement, still lives on today. Dr. Martin Luther King had dinners at the home of Dr. Stuart Barton Babbage which was owned by the University.
