How does a hospital lose a patient and the patient who has a traumatic brain injury is found 2.5 miles away, knocking on a random house door. Januarly 13, this happened to my husband...AND they charged me for the ambulance bill
I submitted a review before where the hosptial lost my husband while he was under their care. I received a $1,475 ambulance bill. I submitted a letter to the hospital and Ascension headquarters as I don't think I should pay it. Long story short, my letters remained unanswered and I'm stuck with the bill. I am already in debt over 5k with lawyer fees for Guardianship and Medicaid.
My husband who had a heart attack and received no oxygen for 5-10 minutes was admitted here. It's 95 miles away from our home in Appleton. When we first got there, I was told I was not to interrupt therapy. I'm an Occupational Therapy Assistant and we welcome families to our therapy gym. On my husband's last week there, he walked off from their "locked" unit and they didn't figure it out till about 1-1.5 hours later. My opinion about Ascension Ozaukee hospital “service” 03/12/2022 Just yesterday I came from Ascension Ozaukee hospital, where I spent 3 days (3/9/2022 – 3/11/2022) due to my myocardial infarction and terrible cough. About 2 weeks ago I also spent one day in the same hospital for the same terrible cough: they did a lot of tests, couldn’t find anything wrong and pushed me out of the hospital.
