I recently moved into the Columbia Senior residence at Decatur East community and have been very pleased with the professional interaction with the facilty staff, as well as the welcoming recieved by community neighbors. Ms. Stephanie, facility's office agent is a gem! Ms. Diane, Mr. Larry, Mr. Lureĺle have all helped to make my moving transition go smoothly. Very thankful; did I note that my apartment is lovely? R. My mother was charged for March rent after she had moved out in mid-February 2025, and the money was never returned. My mother had been a tenant at one of the Columbia Senior Residence properties for over five years. After being diagnosed with early dementia in May 2023, she gradually could no longer care for herself. I took her to live with me, but she refused to give up her apartment.
