CPWS makes me regret moving to Columbia. I've never had such high electric and water bills in 20 years of living all over Middle TN. I hope anyone considering moving to the Carters Creek finds out before signing.
absolutely out of control with the huge change in charges.. with little to no explanation
If I could give negative stars I would. We moved and I called to have the service cut-off. They said okay and I provided my forwarding address. One month later they still haven’t cut the service! I’ve called multiple times this week! Everyone I speak to doesn’t know how to help and says someone else will call me back and they don’t call me back! Their automated phone tree hangs up on you regardless of selection. Only way to contact them is by going in in person.
I've lived here for 10 years in Columbia. I live off of Bear Creek Pike towards the 46 exit. I've never in my life experienced so many power outages in frequency or duration. This is a populated area with many homes, and there's no obvious reason whey we experience outages so frequently, other than CPWS isn't addressing a problem. I experience outages monthly, without storms or weather impacting it. The frequency of outages compared to the rest of Columbia is ridiculous.
