These people have gone full blown toxic, and it all began with a new PA back in 2019. Now, the doctors are VIP only leaving care to PAs who have no commitment or care to patients. You’re getting charged for services your insurance does not charge for. Billing does not return calls. They lie to your face. Patients have become one big joke to these people. It’s all very disconcerting.
I wanted to receive home health services for my 98 year old mother after her release from a skilled nursing facility but didn’t know who to call or what to do. During a follow up office visit for my mother I was introduced to Nicole Combs who immediately jumped into action and told me what she and Michael Elmore could do to help. There can’t be a worse practice than this. It has been on the decline for a few years now, but this month takes the cake. I called to speak to my doctor that I just had a physical with last month and was told she was no longer working there. I had to beg for them to order me an ultrasound for an issue I have had documented in the past. After being told to come in just to talk about my symptoms to get the order for the ultrasound, the wrong ultrasound was then sent in. Overall, the Columbia Medical Practice falls short. Rude staff, and my doctor was disengaged. The quality of care is subpar and careless. The office staff is rude and it seems they obstruct rather than assist. I’m so glad I have found a new practice and no have internist that comprehensive, competent, and proactive. I do not recommend this practice.
