Would have given it a 4 or 5 star but the service was really bad.
My first visit exceeded my expectations. Fine cask ale in the traditional style, pulled by hand. I enjoyed the mussels and creamed spinach side. The skilled bartenders made a genuine Sazerac, the best I have had since New Orleans. I will return next time I am in town.
Great atmosphere. Waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. After enjoying steamed muscles she brought out a steamed napkin with lemon - very nice touch. The food was delivered a little too rushed. We just wanted to enjoy the evening - that’s the only bad thing- food was wonderful and they made a great Negroni!
