The level of incompetence displayed by this team of health and eye care professionals is unnerving. Not only are they rude and noncompassionate, they don't care about anything but money. They do not care about patient care whatsoever they are not doctors they are a business. Even if the problem is emergent and you have been referred by many other doctors they will turn you away unless you have hundreds of dollars up front for care laying around or an insurance they accept. I hope they all need help one day and don't get it.
Very disappointed was told one price on the phone got there had the exam completed and when the glasses were chosen we we're given a price twice as much for the total, then we were told the glasses would be in within the week and I called today just for me to be told that they won't be in for another 2 or 3 weeks this place is a JOKE!!!! WOULDNT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE
WARNING THESE FOLKS ARE CROOKS! They lied and told me I had a copay - it was new insurance and there was not a co-pay - they gave me prefab contacts that were no help and asked me to sign saying I had them for $60! Three days later I had an eye infection that they would not see me about on a walk in, told me they could schedule in two months! BEWARE OF THESE CLOWNS! Really ZERO STARS but you have to give them one star to post! Live Oak and Lake City are both terrible!
I found Dr. Karl extremely knowledgeable and able to communicate to me his patient in way that I completely understand. Because he was a professor and had to teach what he practices, he build a confidence in his patient. I would recommend him to anyone. I don't think one can get a better medical professional or bedside manner.
My daughter loves going there, had a awesome experience
Dr. Karl is the best eye dr I have ever been to. He knows what he is doing, and he is compassionate and kind.
