It just the worst company ive dealt with they ***** you over in every way they can at 1st they are very helpful and nice and once they get you into their Money trap your life savings will go down the drain. when problems come up they will say that you never complained even though you did on several different occasions they will lie and say that they never received your calls.
STAY AWAY FROM Columbia Management! Ardent, This is a complete joke of a company. I have never seen such unethical and poor service in a community. As a renter of more than 3 years, I truly don't know how this company gets away with the crap that they do. Put in a deposit for an apartment managed by Columbia. Moved out the place and they kept my deposit. Completely illegal.
My wife, myself, and two other couples stayed in one of Columbia's 3 bedroom apartments over New Years 2010 (link to property is posted below). Great location! The apartment itself was wonderful, but even more notable, the property management company was absolutely fantastic! Put in a deposit for an apartment managed by Columbia. Columbia rejected my offer and kept my deposit. Completely illegal. Had to threaten legal action to have my money returned. The play dirty and I'm not the only one that can attest to this. Did a little digging and found a steady stream of complaints and examples of questionable dealings.
