Great appointment today for a fitting for an occlusal night guard, grinding issues at night. Hopefully this will protect my teeth for future damage and prevent any issues later on. Dr. Colthurst and his assistant were awesome! He explained step by step why and what he was doing as well as a meticulous and detailed procedure. I was extremely happy to see that Katie, the hygienist, was back at Dr. Colthurst's practice. She does an excellent job cleaning teeth. I also was EXTREMELY HAPPY to see Kayla at the front desk and that Amanda was no longer in the office. I've been a patient of Dr. Colthurst for 34 years and he has always had a top staff to be proud of--not so with Amanda. It was a pleasure to see my old friend the dentist.
I started seeing "Dr. Doug" when he started his practice in McHenry decades ago. Not only have I found him to be a very skilled Dentist, but a caring, classy, engaging, and compassionate man. Although I moved 270 miles away over 11 years ago, I had been so well cared for by "Dr. Doug," that with my daughters, grandchildren, and lifelong friends that result in coming back least a half a dozen times a year, I asked him if I could remain his patient.
