Both therapists I've worked with have been helpful & professional. During my last couple sessions I was able to hear other client/providers through the unfinished walls in the building. On my way out there was a therapist holding a session with her client in the waiting room where you normally enter/exit the building.
They will schedule you for appointments unbeknownst to you and then charge you for not showing up. I went to one session over the summer and was charged for three subsequent appointments and cancellation fees that I never signed on for. I was charged over $500, damaging my mental health ironically. The bank couldn’t even get the money back. Scam business.
This is the first time I've had therapy that I feel like I've been making progress with--I usually have a really hard time opening up to them or am too difficult to work with. I've felt super understood as a chronically ill trans guy, and like this counseling office has been willing to work with me when it comes to how being sick makes scheduling a nightmare sometimes.
