Complete Scam. Got a message from a collector saying I owe them money. I verified with insurance that my bill was already payed by insurance and I do not owe them money. Tried calling them directly 4 times over 2 weeks and got sent to voicemail every time. Still have not been able to get into contact with them.
This hospital is taking me to court for $600 that medicade didn't cover and never sent a bill to notify me. What a joke this hospital needs to be put in check.....
This is scamming at its finest. Go anywhere else for a medical emergency. You will pay thousands for a nurse who doesn’t know what they are doing and send you on your way.
I had to go to the ER back in March. I was only there for a total of 4 hours, a lot of the time spent in the waiting room or just sitting in exam room. All they did was run a few tests, give me one med and a prescription to pick up. I was billed by St. Mary's for over $3,000. Then, I get another separate bill in the mail from the doctor (who is already getting paid by St. Mary's) for almost another $1,000. I would give zero stars if it was an option.
I am a disabled veteran and the VA could not treat me due to severity of injuries. This company sent my bills to the wrong address and even though the VA sent instructions to them after they were sent incorrectly on where to send the bills to they still put the accounts into collections. I will be showing up in person to address this; it was at no fault of mine or the VA's.
