I was very disappointed with the misrepresentation of services advertised for transgender patients. I scheduled a consultation for voice feminization surgery, which their website shows as procuring Laryngoplasty and Laryngeal Lift. As the anesthetic for the videostroboscopy was taking effect, Dr Opperman immediately shot down my request for surgery. I've been consistently happy with Dr. Opperman as an ENT Specialist. I went in to him after constant issues with Nasal Polyps, a Deviated Septum, and Turbinate issues. He explained exactly what was going on, what he'd like to do in order to remedy the issue surgically, and explained the post op recovery process. Because I was having so many issues, I decided to go ahead and get the surgery, and I cannot speak highly enough about the process. It completely changed my life. Doc Op is a phenomenal doctor. Extremely knowledgeable and I'll describe how pivotal that can be. I thought there was a very good chance I had cancer after seeing a doc at an urgent care (who seemed very certain of this) and receiving a referral to see an ENT. Doctor Opperman was able to properly diagnose me almost immediately. I'm also a saxophonist and a budding singer and the wealth of knowledge I received was well worth the out of pocket expense. I was lucky enough to get into this clinic the same week as making the appointment which was amazing because I had been struggling with an unknown sickness for 2 weeks. I saw the PA Buzz which was the 5th doctor I had seen during the 2 weeks of being sick. (All other physicians were located either at urgent care facilities or they were general practitioners). Doctors can save lives, but Dr. David Opperman of The Colorado Voice Clinic literally "GAVE ME MY LIFE BACK!" Because of some unknown cause, I developed a paralyzed vocal fold and as a result, I had no voice. This horrible condition persisted for two years. I was treated in the Chicago area by the "best of the best" (or so I was told) laryngologists whose treatment was ineffective and literally almost killed me.
