I like to wander college campuses especially when students are away. The campus of Colorado State University exceeded my expectations. I wandered the campus for 56 minutes (paid for 60), but that wasn't enough time. I wanted to play at Newton's Corner, but I had only a few minutes to get back to my car parked at the Thurman F. "Fum" McGraw Athletic Center. The first thing I saw upon entering the CSU campus was my last name (Thurman).
Beautiful campus and facilities! The orientation leaders were very informative and helpful for both incoming students and parents.
Beautiful campus with a friendly atmosphere. GO RAMS!
As a graduate student in the equine program at CSU, I headed a research project using weanling horses. They were all well-fed, had their hooves trimmed, received veterinary care when necessary, and I found private homes for all but one at the end of my study (not through lack of trying!). That one went to a sale and sold for well over meat price. I also worked on a bigger research study as an undergrad; the head researcher for that project also worked tirelessly to find homes for the horses (most of which had been *purchased... read more
I am proud to be a Ram because of the wonderful faculty I had. As a whole, I am worried for the future of CSU and the lack of respect for students/alumni. Following the money and not the hearts of the people you educate. You will never see a donation from me
Well done, you used horses to test whatever kind of drugs on for people, and then dumped them a slaughterhouse. Piece of Shit you are.
Not at all impressed with the condition of the horses dumped by your University after experimentation. They are in poor condition, with bad feet, poor hair coat, possibly wormy, and underweight. What is your explanation for this, and for dumping them on a feedlot where they had to be rescued?
Teach your students to value life, not to discard it. A slaughterhouse on campus? Really? That will really bring your school to the next level. And after using horses un experiments you dump them at a feedlot to be slaughtered? The least you could do is let them live out their lives at a santuary. I was actually considering a masters here but. with all that has come up, this school is no longer an option.
They test on horses and dump them for slaughter on feed lots. Animal cruelty is what CSU is good for.
