25 years ago, during a routine contact lens prescription appt, I was told by a technician that I had Macular Degeneration. Having never heard of this, I asked what it was and he simply responded that I would eventually go blind. I'll start by saying the gal that works the front desk is very nice, but it ends there. I had two appointments at this facility, and both times the doctor ran extremely late (by more than 30min). My second appointment was disappointing, at best. The tech used the same gloves from the previous patient and then instilled the wrong drops in my eyes (my chart was noted, because I have a bad reaction to certain drops), and the doctor was so rushed that he actually hurt my eyes as he tried to hurry through the exam.
