I cannot stress this enough- Dr. Rufner is the best doctor that I have ever had in my life. I came to him incredibly ill from a flare-up. I was currently going to Rocky Mountain Gastro, where I experienced medical neglect. I had anemia due to the flare up, had lost 15 pounds and was experiencing medical grade fatigue. He saw right away and very clearly that they were not treating my flare up correctly for my UC as a whole correctly. He put me on meds and I was feeling better within a week. professional friendly staff made me feel comfortable for operation
As an Office /Call Center Manager, I take pride in providing the best customer service possible. I have NEVER experienced such poor customer service as I did this morning. I arrived early to my appointment (I was told to check in at 8 AM, I arrived 20 minutes early as I had never been to this office before) and I was patiently waiting outside the office. Yikes! I have been referred by 2 doctors to see GI. I'm confused, I saw Dr. Trouillot and he jumped to a lot of conclusions. I told him a symptom in the past tense and he was like "oh that's why, because you vape." And I said "uh... No, we found out that was because of my autoimmune medication I had to go off of." DO NOT GO HERE. Saw Dr. Brenner and honestly can say this person has zero business being a healthcare professional. Completely dismissed me when I told her what I did to manage my disease. Then added that my risk of cancer was particularly high based ONLY on the amount of years I’ve had the disease… nothing else… why even say that??
