Hello! I used to be a very satisfied and happy customer of color arts until a couple of weeks ago. I used to like going to Jade because she gave me a great cut and color. However, during my last visit, while waiting for my color to settle, I was talking on my phone and some of the dye spilled onto my fingers. Color Arts Salon & Spa is the best! After moving away from Manhattan, I needed a local hairstylist in Brooklyn who I could trust. I find that most hairstylists do not pay attention to the texture of my hair when they thin it and this has lead to some trying moments. I love Color Arts Salon & Spa. Jade was amazing! She managed to turn my jet black hair to a wonderful warm caramel color and gave me an awesome cut and blow out. The staff is great, the atmosphere is welcoming and the music is soothing. By far the best place in Brooklyn! :)
Best in the neighborhood. – I live in an area where there's another nail salon on every corner. Color Arts manages to shine through all the competitors -- there is no competition, they truly are the best in the neighborhood! Dissapointing Experience – I waited one month for an appointment with Jade based on her high recommendation.Walked in with medium brown hair and asked for honey highlights My hair is thick and curly. She colored my base followed by highlights. After spending over three hours in this salon I walked out with thick orange stripes placed over my head.
