Our first time ever at a shooting range. First time ever using a handgun. The name “shooting academy” is appropriate, because teaching about gun safety and equipment seems to be their priority. Even though we started out nervous and completely clueless, all the employees were very professional, calmly reassuring, and above all, safety-conscious. They kept a close watch over every shooter, even the experienced ones. It was a wonderful experience in every way, and I’d recommend this place to anyone.
An excellent very well supervised shooting range and Gun Shop with state-of-the-art range and gun range marshalls in the area to make sure everything runs smoothly. Very professional and an amazing huge modern complex which is in the top five of the United States.
Awesome facility with class act employees and Great staff
A group of five nurses and myself went for a large group shoot, and had a blast! Our Range Officer, Andre, was amazing. Super friendly and gave great advice! Can't wait for our next get-together!
The entire family has memberships. Dave is awesome. He always teaching even behind the gun counter. My son loves when Dave is there because he's going to learn something new. Harry always has a great personality and friendly demeanor makes him approachable to ask even the silliest of 'girlie' questions. The entire staff is friendly and wants people to know gun safety and better their skills and have fun. Classes offered are great. Well Wirth the drive from Charlottesville Va.
I'm from Texas and we definitely believe in owning guns and visiting the range for target for practice, however this has to be the best shooting range I've ever been to.
