Came from out of town. Picked this place as the local place to go definitely worth it great service and food.

Always a favorite for breakfast. Carmel rolls are awesome (although I hardly get them due to all of the other good things on the menu). Used to work there and I know what the owners demand from their staff so I never worry about if I will get good service or not. Military discount as well

The food is excellent and it was out to our table extremely fast. Josh is the best waiter we have ever had wait on us at Colonial House. I love going to Colonial House and recommend it to everyone that is in the Rapid City, SD area.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. As visitors from Texas, we asked around and were directed here. It was above and beyond expectation. The food was delicious and arrived in a timely manner, and the wait staff was friendly and polite. Quincy is the bomb - he made this Texas girl a sweet tea even though they don't normally serve it. It was a little piece of home 1,000 miles away. 10/10 would recommend heartily!

Disappointed beyond words. While it is still one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Rapid City.....our server last night was apparently not wanting to be there and it ruined an otherwise great evening.....she was terse....didn't offer refills.....had to practically hunt her down for anything. Dreadful!!!!! Was server #222.....in the bar. We all noticed it. Guess we should always ask for our favorites.....Holly.....Forrest or Jen from now on.
