Great unique food with wonderful service! We had the Cheesy Potato Cakes as a shared appetizer with a wonderful dipping sauce! Buffalo burger was tender & tasty, Blue Walnut salad with Salmon was unique & full of flavor! Wait staff person, Brian, was very helpful & personable! Great deal for the price!

My favorite restaurant in Rapid City! I travel from West Virginia to dine at Colonial House and go there every day. Why shop for restaurants when none compare to Colonial House.
Our wait staff, ignored us, in favor of his "favorite customers". I launch a compliant, but was told "Oh, his is busy." I ask another waiter to bring us bread and drinks, but got the same answer, "Oh, his is busy." He was not. I confronted "him" and that is when I got the "My favorite customers are here, and am taking care them. What a crock.
Service was beyond good. Very friendly staff and the food was amazing. If you’re traveling through definitely recommend that you make the stop.
