RecommendedDr. Margaret W. Metry is the most genuine, compassionate, and knowledgable veterinarian I have encountered. She helped us through many complex feline health challenges and was there for us when our pet reached the end of her natural life. We are forever grateful to her and her wonderful staff.
I’ve been going to Dr Margaret Metry, Dr Riddle, and the gang at CHVH for twenty plus years and I HIGHLY recommend this team! They’ve been there for my family and I continue to trust them to the care of my many pets. Although not the norm, I’ve seen Dr Metry take pets home, come in off vacation to administer care, come to my best friends home to gracefully help send her loving pet over to the Rainbow Bridge, and take calls when she was away on personal time. I love the staff at Colonial Heights Veterinary Hospital! My family has gone there with all of our pets since we moved to the area and I love the way that they know and take care of our animal babies. The staff are so knowledgeable and even if the one I’m talking to doesn’t, someone in office does! The receptionists are super helpful and kind. Everyone in the office really loves the animals and what they do. I’ve never had a bad experience having my babies treated at CHVH. ❤️

Today we had to say goodbye to Lucky. I know he is no longer in pain and is in a better place, but it still hurts. 💔🐶 Big thank you to Dr. Metry, Buffy, Dr. Riddle, Dr. Johnson, and the rest of the staff at Colonial Heights Veterinary Hospital. Especially Dr. Metry and Buffy!! Y’all are the best!
They are always caring to all there patients. They always look out for there best interests. They always care for them to the best of there abilities. I won't go any where else.
The entire staff of CHVH is and has always been so sweet and loving to all of my babies. They treat all the animals as their own. I have never had a bad experience here and would never go anywhere else!
