My ol’ (not old) lady is battling metastatic breast cancer and borderline type 2 diabetes. She goes to Columbia for her cancer treatments, and to Dr. Judy for the diabetes. Truth is, we’ve adopted Dr. Judy as our family physician. Her bedside manner is straight ahead truthful. The staff (nurses, receptionist) is great and always helpful. Dr Judy however, is not. I have never seen such bad bedside manner. I’ve never left a doctor feeling like I did when I saw her. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this practice...
Dr. Judy and the Sumter Colonial office is horribly unresponsive, and when they do respond, sometimes weeks later, they are unprofessional and rude. Besides taking forever to refill prescriptions or even return a phone call, Dr. Judy has the absolute worst bedside manner. She should be ashamed of the way she treats her patients. I would encourage anyone who has experienced the horrible care my elderly parents have to file a complaint with the medical board through SC Labor Licensing and Registration and then transfer to a Pr... read more
