I’ve had a total of two sessions with Meghan Wachter and had a third one scheduled for next week when I received a certified letter in the mail that basically fired me as a patient. I called her office, but they refused to comment, explain, or assist me in any way. Colonial Behavioral Health failed to provide a safe or supportive environment. The staff were unprofessional, dismissive, and lacked basic empathy, making access to care unnecessarily stressful and, at times, impossible. Communication was poor, concerns were minimized rather than addressed, and interactions with staff felt cold, rushed, and dismissive. I came to Meghan Wachter on all the wrong medications and misdiagnosis. When I tell you, in the short time I've been with her, my life has completely changed. I feel better than I did since I can remember. She truly listens and is thorough. She doesn't rush you on different medications either. She is the best psych person I have ever been to.
