Have always had a nice experience at College Park Family Care! Well staffed and friendly with efficient operations and fair wait times. Dr Crook is the BEST!
First time going today to CP. Customer Service was great. NP was good and gave further steps for treatment. The reason I give 3 stars is they had a lot of information to fill out but never asked about any of it. Seemed really out of touch, also was something I could be charged for if my insurance carrier didn’t cover it.
Have liked all the docs I've seen there. Disappointed they closed their urgent care though...it was a real plus to have urgent care as an extension to your medical practice. I trusted them more than any of the free standing urgent care clinics I've ever seen and appreciated getting to know other docs in the practice! I thought it was great to get a phone call from my docs office following an ER visit. They checked to make sure I was doing ok And answered my questions.
Dr. Fair and her nurse were delightful. Helpful. Listened. Resourceful. The woman who set up my appointment via phone call was also INCREDIBLY helpful, patient and kind. The policies/processes at College Park /HCA are often burdensome. I am relatively healthy but had not seen my Dr in 6 months so they removed me from the system?? Seems like HCA may lose a lot of patient info that way. Doesn’t make a patient feel like they made a trusted decision for medical care, per se either.
I have been going to College Park Family Care for nearly 30 years now and today was like every other time I've put them to work. In a word...GREAT. Saw NP Lindsay Lehechka today. She was outstanding, taking the time to answer all my questions with candor, grace and good-humor. Same for her nurse, Caroline. Could not have asked for a better experience. No doubt in my mind, they're going to help keep me healthy for a long time to come.
