I had an absolutely unacceptable experience with College Hunks during my recent move. The movers arrived over 3 hours late and didn’t finish until 2:00 AM — a 9-hour ordeal for what should’ve been a 2–3 hour job. One mover made an inappropriate, lewd comment to me in a locked elevator, saying: “I wouldn’t mind being trapped here with you for a few minutes.” As a woman moving alone with two male movers, this was frightening. I requested the services of this company through their website to pick up two sofas, and the price I was quoted online was $99.99, which seemed reasonable to me. However, on the day they were supposed to come for the pickup, another person called me and said the price was $399, which I thought was outrageous for just two sofas! I immediately canceled.
I really appreciated it when the guys who did our move kept us informed throughout their drive to our new home. Thank you so much!
