For over 2 years I was a patient and would see the PA. I was fine with that, I liked her, she was easy to talk to. Even though Dr. Mitzel was my Doctor, when the PA retired I was told I needed to find another Physician. Since Dr. Mitzel was in charge of my care not the Pa I asked to please be kept as a patient since there was almost a year wait for any other psychiatrist in the area. I have seen Dr Mitzel for a few years. He is knowledgeable, listens to my perspective and decisions are made with mutual agreement. The staff always returns calls or does paperwork quickly and as needed for work etc.

I've been seeing Dr. Mitzel for several years (starting back when they were still in Cranberry) and have always been pleased. I travel about an hour and half to see him still. As you know, finding a good psychiatrist and office is a lot of work. I will continue to travel there with no regrets. I've replaced some of my other doctors so it isn't just that I am attached to all of my providers. The only issue I've had is recently with billing, my payment plan and my HSA on file, but we seem to have it straightened out.
