I moved in Nov 2025. Yes the walls are very thin and noise can be an issue being right off the highway and in the middle of the city. It's a 100 yr old building. They did a lot to make it modern and comfortable. It has a nice balance of original vs renovations. all the locks are digital which is nice. security cameras on property too. I have never seen a single roach or bug of any kind. They have pest control out regularly. more so than any other place I have been. We stayed for one year in the studio apartment at Coliseum. Landlord: John Gorrell is the best landlord we have ever had. I don't know why people are so pressed about him in the comments, that BLOWS my mind! The new landlord John is fantastic. He was so kind and understanding. He cut us so many deals, like only half a month rent on the first month since we were moving in for half the month. He was so understanding if we were late on our rent. Came across this complex in my apt search, and seeing the owner's responses to past review from others, definitely tells me NOT to come here.
Many efforts were made to upgrade the old building, including installing cashless washers and dryers and key-less entry. Every time I had a problem, Lecia was there to help out in every way she could.
