I had two procedures done by Dr Colfer & I ran into complications with both of them. The first time she reluctantly fixed it as my mouth was literally filling with blood. The second time I was told she wouldn’t be able to see me until the next week. Totally unacceptable!! In addition I found her attitude to be condescending, rude & uncaring. I went to Dr. Colfer for help with my smile. I have a missing tooth in the front of my mouth and it makes me very self conscious. I basically wanted an implant and I knew before I went into her office that I probably needed to get a bone graft. After examining my teeth she suggested that I get a bridge. I kept mentioning that I just wanted an implant and she seemed to be trying to talk me out of it. My visits pre and post surgery were professional and fine but on the surgery day Dr Colfer was a different person. She corrected her assistant at least 30 times, to the point where l felt extremely sorry for the girl. If l were that assistant l would have been crying afterwards. Dr Colfer used a profanity and at one point during the surgery had to remove her hands from her work, take a deep breath and visibly was trying to relax , as she proceeded she stated”l get frustrated towards the end of the procedure”. I concur: these negative reviews are fake. I took my 87 year-old mother to see Dr. Colfer, and she couldn't have been kinder or more professional. The staff are wonderful, too, and even the setting is calming. Going into the waiting room feels like entering someone's living room.
I was there many times and i give Dr. Lee the best review. She explains everything and is always getle and kind, Her work is beautiful too.
She might be book smart, but that's about it! Horrible experience in her office, she was so rude to her staff, I'm surprised anyone stays!?! Don't let her work on your mouth, ask for another referral to a local specialist.
Had an extremlly upsetting appointment yesterday. During my surgury she was yelling at her assistant, throwing tools down on the counter, being verbally abusive. I almost got up half way through and walked out. Afte rthe procedure I pulled her aside and explained how unprofessional she acted towards her assitant and that i would not be returning. She said her assistant was "a stupid girl". I encourage you to not see this doctor based on her attitude and her abusive nature towards others.
I agree with the person below. I don't think the other posts are real. She is kind, considerate, and her staff are fantastic. She has worked on both my daughter and myself and the results have been excellent. Se is actually an artist when it comes to skin grafts.
These posts dont seem real. I was there recently for gum graft and she explained everything perfectly. The procedure went very well and looks g. The staff was great and her assistant was fun. I giveher 5 outof 5
