I've been coming to Colectivo for 20 years. There are many quality coffee roasters in our city, but this is the one I like best. They have a relaxed attitude and a nice atmosphere for conversation or studying. And when you eat in, they have real silverware! Discount for your own mug too. Not a bad coffee in the group, but I am a huge fan of Black and Tan.
This place started out as a wonderful alternative to Starbucks. They featured specially drinks mixed locally, along with a pleasant food menu and a great environment. Since that excellent entry they have gone very corporate! The food quality went downhill quite a bit and all the drinks are now mixed with pre-made high sugar / high fructose corn syrup additives. I made the mistake of ordering an espresso mocha shake. I expected some sugar, not 110 g!! I couldn't drink it.
My family and I stopped by the East Colectivo for lunch and it was too packed. All the tables were taken inside due to the heat. We decided to come to the west Colectivo and surprisingly there was plenty of open tables! Food was great of course 😁
