Having sold two homes in my life—one by owner and now one with a real estate agent form Coldwell Banker MM Parrish—I would never hire a real estate agent again. I seriously feel like we were robbed of the $13,000 we paid for this service. I would advise anyone who is reasonably intelligent and owns a nicely appointed home in good repair (i.e. easily sellable) to sell by owner.
