(only submitting anonymously because I think Facebook stinks and don't use it, so I don't have a Facebook sign in required to "identify" myself on here) when we recently moved to the south end of Everett, I tried a cleaner near our new home (Sun Cleaners). they couldn't even take in the waist on a skirt of mine! other tasks for alterations I brought to them, it was always, "oh, no, too hard!" at Colby Cleaners, the owner always says, "can do!" and does excellent work. Colby cleaners charges 15.00 per item, it does not matter the value of the item or what it is, a coat, a sweater, small wool throw for IKEA, it just amazes me that they have the gall to charge those prices.

I bought a $75 dollar shirt and after it was dry cleaned there were spots on the cuffs, it was not that noticeable and when I went in to get two more shirts dry cleaned when I got them back there were spots on 4 buttons and press marks where I would be embarrassed to wear them! Keep in mind these were brand new shirts I only wore one one time and the other was brand new. I'm out $125 dollars from these two new shirts that they ruined!!!!!

They charged me $78 for a simple stitching on a dress that was only worth $20. They also made off with my wallet... $378 later, lesson learned. I was a valued customer for the past 10 years. That is how they treat their clients.

Colby Dry Cleaners Prompt, friendly service. They usually recognize me when I come in to pick up my clothes! The nicest perk of having my dry-cleaning done here is that they also do repairs and alterations. I came in to have a pair of pants hemmed, and I didn't even try them on; they just matched them to another pair that I was having cleaned, and it worked perfectly! They've also repaired a broken zipper for me.
