Coho Cafe

4.1

About this business

Striving for upbeat atmosphere, this restaurant features high-color textured walls with a sea-life motif. The substantial menu centers on seafood but also includes chicken and chops. Try any of the fruitwood-smoked meats and fishes, the wood-grilled pork loin chops for example. The menu also includes a long list of "small plates," encouraging the practice of making a meal of several starters. Fresh salads and pasta plates round out the mix.

Great Place for Friends and Family – Our daughter lives in Redmond and each time we come to visit we always go to Coho's. It seems to have a bit of something for everyone. We each try to order a different type of dinner e.g. salmon, cowboy ribeye, chops, special seafood of the day, and then we all share. Everyone has always have great things to say about the freshness and flavor of the food. The waiter(s) are very friendly and pace themselves to the wishes of the customer. The wine selection is extensive and the beer cold. W... read more

Good tasty seafood, great place for a business lunch – Coho's in Redmond is a good staple for business entertaining. Their seafood is always fresh and prepared well - I always enjoy the grilled salmon. The environment is relaxed and sophisticated - I enjoy going there for happy hour or a business lunch. They also take passport discount cards which is great! Parking is plentiful and I've never had a long wait.

Good eats with friendly staff – My husband and I thoroughly enjoy dining here whenever we can. The selection makes it easy to fill any graving you may have and the food is flavorful but not overbearing with just the right blend of seasonings, spices and/or sauce. My husband generally gets the Cowboy Rib-eye or New York Steak but I enjoy trying something different and I have yet to be disappointed. The staff is friendly and it's obvious they thrive to make your dining experience special even during their busiest times. Being ... read more

Good menu, affordable prices – We have been eating there regularly, and almost every time it's a great menu (their specials always have at least one or two items that I am having difficult time to decide on), very tasty food, but very uneven service. Really depends on the "crew" working the shift - from very attentive, to having to wait for a while before the food arrives. They serve complimentary bread and oil with balsamic vinegar dip before dinner, and on many occasions for this to come we had to wait or even remind the w... read more

Great menu – I love going here and trying to decide what to have. They have a nice variety of not just your average seafood menu. Everything I've had has been delicious. Good wait staff. Nice ambience.

Frolicsome fish? Crack-up clams? Hilarious halibut? This Redmond cafe's motto is "seafood made fun." – The Scene The crowd changes by time: Business lunches on weekdays, a mix of families and groups in the evening and moviegoers on weekends. It's one big, happy room, with a large dining area raised in the center under curvaceous lines of a partial suspended ceiling that's hung below industrial-chic ductwork. The Food Best-of honors fell to a perky version of the stuffed-jalapeno standard. Wood-grilled dishes are also highly ... read more

Consistently impressed – Was in again on Friday night and had a great time. Our server was Alicia and she was a pleasure. She was genuinely friendly and aware of our needs w/o being overbearing. Even though we had to wait for 25 minutes (the bar was packed), it was worth it. My friend ordered the Green Curry Coconut Chicken and I had the Prime Rib. Food rocked. I've had the Prime Rib at Daniel's and this was much better--better flavor and less fatty. My friend loved her dish as well. Overall, Coho always hits the big 3 for m... read more

Best in Redmond! – Great menu with something for everyone. Best patio in town. Origional cocktails (try the summer tea one!). I like it because it has energy, flavor, and the staff is obviously passionate about what they do. Nice to see an established restaurant that does it right again and again.
