History Established in 2013. In 1929, the Paradise Theatre opened its doors as one of the most iconic movie theaters in the Milwaukee area. After nearly seven decades of cinema at its finest, the Paradise closed it's doors in 1996. Fifteen years later, after numerous owners and rehabs, Coffeeworks was proud to stand tall at the crossing of National and Greenfield Avenues.
