Coffee waves is a great coffee shop with terrific coffee and nice atmosphere. Anytime Abbie makes a cup of coffee, I know it’s gonna be good. I’ve had a lot of cups of coffee in my life and boy those sure are some. #bestbaristaever
Love Coffee Waves Alameda!! The baristas are all so friendly and helpful, especially Abbie!! They always serve with a smile and a kind word. Drinks are great, too — just the way you ask for them!

I’m new in town and was looking for a local coffee shop. Someone recommended me to try Coffee Waves and needless to say, I loved it! I love the atmosphere and the nice people that work there! I showed up at an early hour one morning and was greeted immediately with a smile from Jerika, she was very patient as I decided on what to order! My caramel macchiato was delicious!
Very friendly staff, none more friendly than Jerika. Not only is she super knowledgeable in all things coffee, she is also very humble and open when anyone approaches her with questions or just basic curiosity in the world of espresso and coffee beans. She and the rest of the staff are one of the best aspects of Coffee Waves and is something I look forward to every visit.
This is my go to coffee shop when I come to town. Jerika is always so friendly and helps me pick out new choices because I can be indecisive at times. Love the vibe here.
