Great coffee & fun atmosphere! I'm a koffie snob after living in the Netherlands for 3 years where the Dutch know how to make koffie. Forgot brewed coffee - espresso is the only coffee that's truly worth drinking, not to mention nummy. Starbucks, Caribou, & Dunn Bros don't hold a candle to the baristas who make coffee at The Coffee Hag. The espresso here is delicious and well worth the visit. I've lived in Kato a long time, and just recently visited the Hag for the first time. I've been a frequent flyer since, and love everything about it. I can spend a couple minutes there, grabbing something to go, or stay for hours to work on a project, and I always feel so appreciated and every interaction is incredibly personalized. I look forward to any time spent here.
This wonderful laid back setting had stood the test of time for many many years! It still maintains its "we're all friends" atmosphere and still serves a perfect cup of coffee.

There's a great laid back atmosphere here, the food was delicious and coffee was perfect. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I strongly recommend a stop here I know it's going to be one of my regular stops when I'm in Mankato!
