SUSAN P. Well, I just stopped in this morning and was quite pleased that there wasn't the usual Sunday morning line at the door. So, as I dug into my favorite seafood omelet and my husband feasted on his "whale of a breakfast" the line began to form and all I could do was smile at the late risers who, I'm sure thought the storm would be in their favor. Well, three cheers to Mary and her staff, they are doing a fabulous job, not only is the food always great but the ambiance is so comfortable.
Change of ownership increased my appetite for my favorite eatery! Well, I heard that Cobblestone was under new ownership. So since this was my favorite breakfast spot I decided to give it another shot. To my surprise the new owner had been one of the original waitress at Cobblestone's back in the early 90's. I didn't realize that the restaurant changed ownership in the spring of 2007 and was truly surprise at the face lift the dining room had undergone...very comfortable. The Best breakfast in New Bedford, MA. One of my favorites. I just wish they had a website so I could send others to it to see the menu, get directions, etc. The food is reallly good and consistent. I love the Benny's especially the Vegetarian. They also have a full bar so you can have a real brunch on Sunday complete with Mimosas. Sometimes I feel like brunch on Saturday and you can that here. Everything is great and the sevice is always wonderful. Great job to Mary and the staff!

Great place to eat! This one of the best place for breakfast and lunches around.They do a great business.They have a good size menu and food.Prices aren't too bad either.Henry the owner ,is very friendly and likes to get to know his customers and makes them feel right at home. PROS: Love it here. CONS:
Food was smacking, definitely going again
I love this restaurant!! We used to go with my grandmother Rose and my grandfather Oliver. Brings back bittersweet memories. If I ever travel up there again, I would LOVE to go there.
The various cheese roll combinations and Bloody Mary selection are what stands out for me. Welcoming staff and a no worry weekend free parking , make Cobblestones a place to return.
