Sedated cat for X-ray then again for ultrasound, gave three Lasix injections, two other drugs, an IV, drew blood, didn’t care if he ate at all or urinated, and god knows what else happened there. Too much for an older cat with breathing and heart problems. Supposedly put on oxygen but you can’t go inside because of COVID, so who knows. They can come outside and take your money though. They could have gone a little slower with treatment but tried to get as much money as fast as they could. Only concerned with money, not the p... read more

We took our sweet dog, Luke, in today because of two lumps that formed quickly. We were very very concerned as he wouldn't even climb stairs. They were wonderful at reassuring us that it wasn't life threatening today, and to save money, we could simply take him to our family vet tomorrow (Monday) to get the lumps tested. Peace of mind and no huge bill! They really care!

I've known my sweet pup was nearing the end of her life...she was 14 and a boxer so we had her much longer than most boxer owners. When we woke up Sunday morning, February 19, Sasha was breathing but not responsive. Upon taking her into the emergency vet which was honestly my worst nightmare for how this would have gone...our regular vet knows her, our history and I wanted them to tell me what to do. However, to say our experience at Cobb Emergency made this so much easier would be an understatement. Dr. Grasso examined ... read more

Do not take your pet here if Dr. Zach Lane is on duty!! He has no idea what he is doing in regard to exotic care of small pocket pets. We have a beloved pet rat who became ill during Sunday of this past memorial day weekend and began mouth breathing which is a sign of respiratory distress and can be very serious in pet rats. We have had this happen before when we adopted a rat from a local rescue and we were given medicine and a certain protocol for care. Our pet rats also have a specialized exotic vet we use for things ... read more

I am EXTREMELY heartbroken and disappointed in Cobb & Cherokee Emergency Vet!!!! THEY WILL LET AN ANIMAL DIE IF NOONE TO CALL IN PAYMENT FOR 3.5 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!! Around 1:00 AM on 11/11/2015, a foster of a rescue that I am helping brought a kitten (that had just gotten out of another hospital on 11/09/2015 for double pneumonia) into this facility. She called first. Let the person know that she couldn't get ahold of the rescue and the person at the desk told her to come in, that they wanted to help. She took the kitten i... read more

If you was smart you would think twice before taking your pet to these sorry no good piece of sh..s . Took my pet in they gave me two options (1. Pay $7000.00 for them to just find out what's wrong or (2. Put my pet down. They made it clear that he wasn't leaving with me not unless in a body bag . And that's what happened
